When Hans was young, his mother read books to him and his siblings for hours every day. Books like Treasure Island, The Call of the Wild, and The Invisible Man. He grew up hearing stories of adventure and developed a passion for life led by imagination. Hans co-wrote The Fallacy Detective and The Thinking Toolbox. His latest book is Archer and Zowie--a kid's sci-fi story about aliens, outer space, and how to be friends with someone very different from you. Hans' books have sold over two hundred thousand copies since 2002 and won numerous awards. Hans lives with his wife Desi in Durango, Colorado, where he enjoys rock climbing with friends and staring into space while thinking.
