A Berlin native, studied journalism and wrote for Die Welt and Berliner Zeitung. Her first book, Wo warst du? Ein Septembertag in New York (Where were you? A Day in September in New York) was co-written with her husband, Alexander Osang, author and New York correspondent for Der Spiegel. Anja was awarded the German Reporter Award in 2012. Der Fall Scholl, The Scholl Case, was published by Ullstein Buchverlage in 2014.
