Judith C. Galas started as a journalist in 1978 and has reported from Montana, New York, London, and Kansas City. She has written more than a dozen books, including several for young adults. A retired junior high English teacher, she now teaches journalism as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Kansas. She lives in Lawrence, Kansas, with her wife, Cindy, their daughter and grandson, and their ever rambunctious Old English sheepdog Rosie.
