"Doug Reynolds began writing children's fables in 2015 with the dream of creating a collection of books for young people who are often overlooked and underrepresented in mainstream children's media. He published his first book, A Normal Turtle: An LGBTQ Kid's Book the following year, and immediately got to work on his second, An Actual Family: A Fable for LGBTQ Homes. A third book, written specifically for gender nonconforming kids, is in development.
Doug lives in Portland, Oregon with his boxer-ridgeback, Harper."
