Michael (Mike) Puterbaugh is a Certified Public Accountant by trade with a Master's degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech. A child at heart, he wrote Mike and His Missing Bike based on the true story of the fateful night when his own bike was stolen from his back porch!
By sharing his story with young readers, Mike hopes to promote resiliency and self-confidence through perseverance, and demonstrate how believing in yourself can help you achieve your dreams. Mike currently lives in Reston, Virginia, with his wife, Christina, their German shepherd, Bella, and of course, his bike.
