John David Gordon is the Co-Director of Dominion Fertility. He is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and specialty board-certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Dr. Gordon has recently completed voluntary recertification in both of these fields. Dr. Gordon is a summa-cum-laude graduate of Princeton University and attended medical school at Duke University. Following medical school he spent a year at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston completing his internship in obstetrics and gynecology. He then moved to the West Coast where he completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Stanford University Medical Center. Following his residency he completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of California, San Francisco. Previously Dr. Gordon was the Associate Director of Long Island IVF but in relocated to Northern Virginia in 1999 to join Dr. DiMattina as the Co-Director of Dominion Fertility. Dr. Gordon is the author of several handbooks on obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology. He is the editor and chief of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Infertility, a handbook which is used worldwide by medical students, residents, physicians, and women’s’ health care providers. Dr. Gordon is a clinical professor in obstetrics and gynecology at the George Washington University in Washington D C. He teaches reproductive endocrinology and infertility to the OB/GYN residents and medical students from both George Washington University School of Medicine and Virginia Commonwealth University, Northern Virginia medical school campus. Dr. Gordon has been honored on numerous occasions for his teaching and has been honored to accept the American College of OB/GYN National Resident Teaching Award for his educational activities.
