Author Bill Waller is a medical engineer who specializes in hearts. A frequent visitor to the Tunnicliff Inn's basement grotto bar, "The Pit" for dinners and events, he and his wife Carol first carved their initials into one of the Pit's wooden tabletops on an antique-hunting trip in the nineteen sixties. Falling in love with the quaint upstate New York Village of Cooperstown, they have have been active village residents for over forty years. The author is an active sailor, skier, amateur radio operator and a graduate electrical engineer; his bride is the former first-in-history woman Mayor of Cooperstown.

Bill Waller's first book, "Tales From Table Number One" was a successful selection of short stories, the profits from which were donated to the Cooperstown Food Pantry.

"Tales From The Tunnicliff Inn" is his second book.
