D. Raye is the author of Birth of Darkness, book one of a three-part series. It's a unique and thrilling "twisted fairytale" packed full of emotions ranging from love and happiness to excitement, death, and sadness. She was raised in a small town in Southeast Kansas, where riding horses was part of her weekly routine. After struggling through high school and everyday life, she was diagnosed with dyslexia in her early twenties. Eager to overcome this adversity, she continued to educate herself. Her love for art and culture has taken her to many countries where she explores her talent for photography. D. Raye is the owner/creator of Clay Foundation Sculptures where she creates custom one of a kind sculptures. Dance has always been part of her life - from a young child through adulthood. She participated and led a Praise and Worship team for thirteen years. She has a passion for life and living every moment to its fullest.
