Joyce Grant-Smith is a retired elementary school teacher who has always had a thirst for the written word. She lives in the Annapolis Valley, on a small hobby farm with her husband and various pets. She is a mother of two grown children. Joyce enjoys writing both fiction and non-fiction. She has won the Joyce Barkhouse Award, the Ken Klonsky Award, and has been a finalist in the Hackmatack Children's Choice competition.
