Lisa Burkhardt Worley is an award-winning author and speaker, and is the founder of Pearls of Promise Ministries, a ministry with a goal of helping women to overcome dysfunction and trials in their lives through the strength of Christ. Lisa has co-authored two other books, If I Only Had...Wrapping Yourself in God's Truth During Storms of Insecurity and the Pearls of Promise devotional. If I Only Had...is the winner of four literary awards, most recently being named a finalist in the Religious Non-Fiction category for a Next Generation Indie Book Award. Lisa is a former national and local sportscaster, working nationally for HBO Sports on the program, Inside the NFL and as a freelance reporter for ESPN. She was also an anchor and reporter for the Madison Square Garden Network, KENS-TV in San Antonio, Texas and WTVC-TV in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Lisa earned a Master's of Theological Studies degree from Perkins School of Theology, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2008. She has been married to Jeff for 29 years and has two sons, Kyle and Bret.
