Mr. Mohamed was born in Tanzania. After graduation from high school, he went to Moscow in the Soviet Union to complete his university education. His first novel about his personal life in Moscow during the peak Communist era was published in 1975. After about forty years, Mr. Mohamed has penned his second book--not about his personal life but about the meaning of life in general. He lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
