Sally Behrend lives in Waterford, Mich. with her husband Paul, son Allen, and two dogs. She started her addiction to quilting in 2002 and shortly thereafter got a job at a local fabric store and a year later found herself working at the Village Quilt Shoppe in Lake Orion, Mich. Sally enjoys doing her piecing, applique and quilting mostly by hand and the majority of her projects are quilts with small pieces. Sally works with all styles from traditional to comtemporary which is evident in this book. She also enjoys teaching from time to time. With the encouragement of her friend, Carolyn, took on the project of putting together this book.
