Dina Matar is Reader in Political Communication and Arab Media at SOAS, University of London, UK. She has worked as a journalist and editor covering the Middle East, Europe and Africa. Her publications include What it Means to be Palestinian: Stories of Palestinian Peoplehood (I.B.Tauris, 2010), which has been used for a script for the award-winning animation film, The Tower.
