Molly Patterson was born in St. Louis and lived in China for several years. The 2012-2013 Writer-in-Residence at St. Albans School in Washington, D.C., her work has appeared in several magazines, including The Atlantic and The Iowa Review. Winner of a Pushcart Prize, this is her first novel.
