Tony Grounds, (b. London, 1957) is a writer of television scripts. He has written for EastEnders and The Bill, while his 2004 TV film When I'm 64 for BBC2 won the Prix Europa Award for best drama on any channel across Europe. He began his career writing for the stage and his Made in Spain won the Verity Bargate award in 1986. It is published in Verity Bargate Award Winners 86.
