Eleanor Chance's debut novel, Arms of Grace is a silver medalist in the Readers' Favorite Awards and is a recipient of the B.R.A.G. Medallion. The novel was also a finalist in consideration for production by Wind Dancer Films. Eleanor remembers the thrill of learning to read when she was five years old and discovered her passion for writing a few years later. Her first poem was published in an anthology when she was in middle school. She grew up in the gold country of northern California and worked as a whitewater raft guide during summers while earning her English degree. As an avid reader, Eleanor cherishes books that have influenced her writing and her life. She hopes to create the same experience for readers. She loves creating stories about ordinary people becoming extraordinary heroes and overcoming trials in spite of weakness. Eleanor has traveled the world and lived in five countries. She currently resides in the Williamsburg, Virginia area with her husband and is the proud mother of four grown sons and Nana to one amazing grand-darling.
