"Belinda Diaz-Perez has been educating young children for twenty-five years. She has a bachelor's degree in English/journalism, a master's degree in school administration/supervision, and has completed her ESL/bilingual education coursework.
She loves children, and hopes her books inspire them to love themselves and to be compassionate citizens of the world. She also has a love of animals, and enjoys writing them into her stories! Belinda grew up in Jersey City, New Jersey, and currently lives in rural Warren County, New Jersey with her husband, her children and her pets. Their dog Xena even makes an appearance in this book!
