Dr. Heaney-Hunter teaches pastoral theology at St. John's University in New York. She holds a doctorate in theology from Fordham University and a master's in mental health counseling from Long Island University, both in New York state, where she is licensed to practice mental health counseling. She is an internationally recognized speaker, author, and educator on marriage and family ministry in the Catholic Church. She coauthored Unitas, a pair of couples and leaders guides on marriage preparation, for Crossroad Publishing.
