D. K. Nox was born in Austin, Texas, the oldest of seven children. A voracious reader throughout his life, in his senior year of high school he finished a book in English class and said "I can do this!" Thus, a writer was born. Godfall was an idea stemming from D.K.'s obsession with superpowers and his interest in multiple personality disorder.
