Mike Gent (author) remains fixated with pop music, still nurturing an obsession which dates back to first hearing Slade’s ‘Gudbuy T’Jane’ in 1972. A freelance writer since 2001, he has contributed to Book and Magazine Collector, Record Buyer, When Saturday Comes, Inside David Bowie and The Beatles 1962–1970 (DVD). Fascinated by the decade that gave the world glam, prog and punk rock, he is working on a novel set in the Seventies.
