Kay has lived in the South and the North, in the suburbs, in small towns, in cities. This is at the heart of her Chancey Series where all these locations are compared and contrasted on every page. Kay and her husband, Mike, raised three children in all those different locations and now the three are raising their families across the United States. Kay and Mike's latest move was to Fernandina Beach, Florida where they love being near the ocean. Kay's heart rests in Tennessee where she was raised and became a University of Tennessee alum.
