Dr. Abdul Qayyum Rana is a Canadian Neurologist who specializes in Parkinson's disease and Movement disorders. Dr. Rana is currently the Director of Parkinson's Clinic of Eastern Toronto and Movement Disorders Centre in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Rana is the founding editor-in-chief of the Journal of Parkinsonism and Restless Legs Syndrome.
Dr. Rana is also founder of World Parkinson's Program, which is dedicated to promoting awareness about Parkinson's disease. Dr. Rana's research interests include non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease. He has written and published extensively about the various aspects of Parkinson's disease.
Dr. Rana has conducted seminars on Parkinson's disease on an international level. Dr. Rana has authored a series of educational brochures about Parkinson's disease which have been translated in to many languages and are used in several countries around the world. Dr. Rana has written the following books,
