Frank's first love was when a couple of budgies were given to him as a present on his tenth birthday in Malta. When he immigrated to Australia he added photography as his second love. Many a budgerigar have been observed and photographed as they spent their life flying unhindered around his house. Frank has written two books about budgerigars, "Living with Limpy" and "Living with a Budgerigar" before writing children's books.
