After years in the corporate world, Kristal Wick decided to follow her passion and take the plunge into the craft and jewelry world. Once a glass jewelry maker, she was inspired to design her signature Sassy Silkies™ by customer requests for lighter jewelry. In addition to making and selling her beads, she teaches and designs for Swarovski. Her art jewelry pieces are sold in galleries around the world.
Kristal has been featured on HGTV and PBS as well as in publications including Lapidary Journal, Stringing, Beadwork, Bead Style, Crafts Business, Simply Beads, Sew News, Sewing Savvy, PieceWork, Step-by-Step Beads, Crafts Report, Vogue Patterns, Bead Unique, and Belle Armoire. Kristal lives in Arvada, Colorado.
