- Candice Thomas was born and raised in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon, and even as a child, loved writing stories and teaching children. After receiving degrees in English Education from Oregon State University and Library and Media from Southern Oregon College, Candice became involved in the lives of children as teacher, librarian, and administrator in both public and Christian schools as well as in her church. Now retired, Candice is a wife, mother, and grandmother who loves being with her husband, children, and grandchildren, playing on hands and knees or simply providing a listening ear. Candice loves reading, writing, walking, swimming, sewing, and knitting. She currently resides in Southern Oregon with her husband, Terry.
