"I
believe
in
the
aesthetics
in
relationship
to
the
creative
process
and
one's
self-‐expression."
In
making
that
statement,
photography
has
been
my
continued
journey
in
my
quest
for
learning,
exploring
and
experiencing
the
visual
arts.
We
live
in
a
vertical,
multi
complex
world
and
are
bombarded
with
choices,
decisions
and
consequences.
To
capture
the
moment
of
space
and
time
while
interpreting
it's
perceived
meaning
is
my
challenge.
I
officially
began
my
fascination
with
photography
while
attending
college
and
witnessing
the
magic
of
developing
a
print
in
a
darkroom
environment.
I
became
enthralled
by
photography
and
remain
so.
Through
the
years
I
have
been
involved
in
numerous
working
experiences
and
have
remained
closely
associated
with
the
field
of
photography.
I
have
furthered
my
photographic
education
while
attending
Pratt
Institute,
Fashion
Institute
of
Technology,
The
Bronx
Botanical
Gardens
Photo
Program
and
Fayetteville
Technical
Community
College.
I
have
been
the
recipient
of
numerous
awards
for
photographic
excellent
and
served
as
a
competition
judge
while
in
New
York
City.
As
a
Project
Director
I
successfully
organized
and
participated
in
a
Photo
Essay
entitled
"A
Week
in
the
Life
of
The
Bronx."
The
project
highlighted
the
positive
aspects
of
a
multi
cultural,
diverse
and
commercial
borough.
New
York
City's
Mayor
and
The
Borough
President
endorsed
the
project
along
with
numerous
sponsors.
One
of
my
most
adoring
honors
was
that
of
President
of
the
New
York
Botanical/Zoological
Photographic
Society,
which
I
served
for
four
years.
Since
being
a
transplant
and
now
residing
in
Fayetteville,
NC,
I
have
fully
embraced
all
that
the
city
has
to
offer
in
its
uniqueness
and
continue
to
be
involved
in
the
visual
art
field.
Along
with
my
personal
freelance
endeavors
I
maintain
my
journey.
At
present,
I
am
a
commercial
and
editorial
photographer
with
Fayetteville's
Cityview
Magazine.
I
have
felt
the
energy
and
experienced
the
heart
and
soul
of
Fayetteville
and
I
am
proud
to
call
it
my
home.
