An award-winning author, Mary Bryan Stafford is seventh generation Texan, despite being a graduate of The College of William and Mary in Virginia, She taught in Texas schools, in addition to teaching aerobic dance, but now spends her free time with her horses. She lives in the Texas Hill Country with her husband.
