Eduardo del Buey has served as a Canadian diplomat at six Canadian embassies abroad - Teheran, Caracas, Lima, Guatemala, Madrid, and Mexico City. He has held key diplomatic and management positions as political officer and lobbyist, communications manager and public diplomacy officer, and trade commissioner, learning the diplomatic and communications craft over three decades.
A graduate of both McGill (B.A.) and Concordia (MBA) Universities in Montreal, Eduardo del Buey has been awarded the Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers' prize for excellence, as well as the 125th anniversary of Confederation Medal by the Government of Canada for his contributions to the Canadian Foreign Service.
