He completed his undergraduate work in English and Religious Studies and holds a Master of Arts in Education from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. He has written about faith and culture for numerous national publications and is author of The Mockingbird Parables: Transforming Lives Through the Power of Story and Holy Nomad: The Rugged Road to Joy.
