During her career in journalism spanning six decades Jo Ann Ridley (1925-2010) has written extensively about the arts (including as art critic for the Seattle Times 1971-1995). Her books include an authorized biography of the famous American miniaturist Eulabee Dix for the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC.
