Melanie Richardson Dundy is the author of the award-winning children's book: THE OREGON TRAIL - OLLIE'S GREAT ADVENTURE! (endorsed by the Oregon-California Trails Association). Melanie grew up just outside of Chicago and studied writing at Southern Illinois University and the University of Iowa. Today she lives in Oregon with her husband, Mike, and two pups, Charlie and Murphy.
