Kanika Blankenship is a mother and wife of over 21 years. She earned her M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and had professionally worked in the field of education over 18 years in both instructional and administrative capacities. As serving in both public and private sectors, her leadership roles have included Reading Department Head, Exceptional Student Education Department Head, Reading Coach, Behavior Coach, and Principal. She has also served on a variety of school leadership committees. Her company, The Bright Idea Developers, provides academic consultation and services to learning institutions and parents. "Educated Parenting" is her debut guided journal.
