Annie Hallinan is a long-term writer who grew up in Scotland. Her stories have an "old world" tone which younger readers enjoy. Writing stories for children has long been her passion, second only to rescuing abused animals. Critters and flowers often are the focus of her stories. Annie lives in North Carolina with her husband, three dogs and an elderly cat.
