Laurie Wyman created The Navy Lark in 1959 and wrote every episode of the radio comedy until it came to an end in 1977. He also wrote spin-off series The Embassy Lark and The Big Business Lark, and episodes of TV sitcoms including Love Thy Neighbour, Bless This House and And Mother Makes Three.
