This book was written for and about my granddaughter Lauren, or as we like to call her, LaLa. Those were her first words, even before "dada." For one so tiny, her voice would fill the room and bring us such joy and laughter. She was born to sing. I have loved writing from when I was a girl, so it seemed natural that my very first book would be about one whom I love so much.
