Kent Weeks is an eminent Egyptologist who spends several months each year sailing on the Nile river in his boat The Kingfisher. Kent is well-known for his work on the Theban Mapping Project, which he started in 1978. One of the project's largest finds was the rediscovery of KVS--the tomb of the sons of Pharaoh Ramses II.
