Dr Mary-Claire Hanlon was born the youngest of nine children and grew up in Newcastle, a coastal city just north of Sydney in Australia. Mary-Claire went to Sydney to seek her fortunes (or distractions, depending on your view) when she was aged 19, and returned to Newcastle to be nearer her parents when she was 30. Although no fortune found her, in the material sense, her life has been blessed with the other treasures - beloved family, dear friends, good health, great education, and the experiences of travel and vocation. She completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours in Psychology) as a mature-age student, followed by a PhD (Psychiatry), and has attained various other academic achievements. She has over 15 years' experience providing clinically diagnostic, cognitive, intellectual and functional assessment of persons aged 16 years and over, and has conducted research since 2003. Mary-Claire uses social-organisational psychological techniques to creatively produce cultural and individual changes, in her business, e Centre of Serendipity (https: //www. eCentreOfSerendipity.com). She facilitates workshops for small and large groups and individuals. Her workshop participants constantly agree that they love the unexpected things about her workshops. Participants always feel empowered by Mary-Claire's workshops. Mary- Claire's workshops are perfect for adults as well as young people, in all stages of life, and teams from every type of business. She is an engaging educator and speaker, awarded for international and national presentations on her mental health research. Additionally, Mary-Claire hosts RE[BIRTH] Workshops for small groups, in which participants enjoy Self-Transformation over Tea and Tarot.
