Fred Fanning is a successful and well respected program director. He has traveled widely and lived in seven U.S. states, Guam, and Germany. Fred’s first book “Basic Safety Administration: A Handbook for the New Safety Specialist” was published in 1998 with a hardback edition published in 2003. He went on to coauthor a training manual “Hazard Control Management: A Training Manual for Today’s Business Leaders” in 2005. Fred also authored the chapter “Safety Training and Documentation Principles” published in the "Best Selling" Safety Professional Handbook in 2008 with a second edition published in 2012. Over the years he has authored over 40 technical articles. Fred received first place in the Professional Writing Contest sponsored by the Federal Managers Association and the 2007 Best Newsletter Article award from the American Society of Safety Engineers.
