Aisling Ann O'Kane is a Ph.D. student on the CHI+MED project at University College London. Her research is on the situated use of mobile medical technologies for everyday self-management of chronic conditions. Her interests include the connections between human factors engineering and user experience in healthcare. She is a co-editor and a co-author of Chapters 1 and 3.
