Thomas Olson was born and lived until age eleven in South Dakota farmland country. A dedicated Clinical Laboratory Scientist for 46 years, he embarked on his career after earning a Biology/Chemistry degree from California State University Northridge in 1968. Inspired by Bernie Sanders, Tom champions the shift from neoliberalism to a robust commons. A lifelong resident of Thousand Oaks, California, he cherishes his 38-year marriage to Kathleen, their three children, and one grandchild.
