Alexander Rose is an author whose writing has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Washington Post, among others. He is a member of the United States Commission on Military History, the Society for Military History, and the Royal Historical Society, as well as a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts. He has worked as a consultant on several television series and magazine projects and served as a contributor to the Encyclopedia of U.S. Intelligence. He also has a doctorate from Cambridge University in history. His previous books include Washington's Spies, which was adapted into AMC's popular show Turn.
