Michael Jenkin is Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at York University. Working with intelligent autonomous machines for over thirty years, he has helped develop autonomous systems that have operated on and below the water's surface, and has worked on robot systems that were designed to operate in environments from nuclear power plants to contaminated crime scenes.
