William Pryse-Phillip's first children's' book, Free Flight, was a finalist for the Newfoundland Children's Book Awards in 2014 and achieved five star ratings on Amazon. His new book is a series of two weeks of bedtime stories for children aged between three and eight, recounting the adventures of a black Labrador dog, and a father and his child, all set 40 years ago in St. John's, Newfoundland (Canada's oldest city) and its parks. It will appeal to parents who love to lie beside their child on their bed for a last parenting session for that day, gently telling tales of exciting confrontations between three members of the family (very much including Ham, the dog) and a very fictional park-keeper.
