Mark Saba is a native of Pittsburgh. He is the author of poetry books Flowers in the Dark and Calling the Names as well as Ghost Tracks: Stories of Pittsburgh Past. His work has appeared widely in literary magazines around the U.S. and abroad. A graduate of Wesleyan University (B.A.) and Hollins College (M.A.), he is also a painter, and recently retired from Yale University as a medical illustrator and graphic designer.
