Bobby George tried various jobs, from painting to concrete floor-laying, before takinng up darts at the age of 30. Within six months he was playing in the World Championships, and went on to become one of the most charismatic figures in the golden era of the sport, playing alongside the likes of Eric Bristow, Jocky Wilson and John Lowe. Now, as well as commentating on the sport for the BBC, he also appears in films, TV and videos.
