Research interests include:
inclusion and exclusion;
education and social welfare policy;
law and young people's rights;
the construction and use in practice of labels and categories of deviance;
the identification and development of supportive professional practice with children and young people in difficulty in and out of school;
inter-agency and multiprofessional working.
