I came from an orphanage during the Depression and closed out my career on top serving in the capacity of a judge, resolving multimillion dollar disputes in the construction industry in both the US and abroad. In my working career I: worked my way through law school as Constable for 3 1/2 years; was a rancher in the US and Canada: spent 10 years in the fire service with the last 5 as Chief; resolved construction disputes as a mediator, arbitrator and hearing officer; spoke at numerous seminars; and taught a graduate level course in the engineering school at the University of Colorado for several years.
