Chris Kirkpatrick's previous collections of poetry include Learning to See From the Blind, Mixed Metaphors, and I Don't Know What to Tell You. His work has also appeared in such literary journals as The UC Riverside Mirage, Chaff, Nourishment Notes, Clever Copywriting, and Time of Singing. He is currently a high school English teacher who works with at-risk youth. He lives with his wife and two daughters in San Bernardino, California.
