Canada Jackson is a Hybrid Author Fantasy, Science Fiction and Paranormal stories of Romance and is the Author of the five book series The ADRSTA CHRONICLES - A hybrid fantasy sci-fi saga. She also writes magical realism, representing issues that continue to plague humanity in Dystopian settings such as her Apartheid Story "Tokoloshe - Birth of the Ushinto" which came forth from both her own personal struggles growing up in a divided South Africa and also from her extensive studies and readings during her Bachelor's Degree that was rich in colonial and post-colonial literature. She considers herself "eisegetic" in her viewpoints and her series ESOTERICS is rich in religious mythology, where she explores new and intriguing ideas about faith and spirituality that are both thought provoking and entertaining. Canada enjoys graphic representations of her novels and spends a lot of time working with talented artists who assist her in creating and painting beautiful depictions of her characters and settings in her novels that can be viewed on her website www.canadajackson.com She has a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from South Africa, and holds a Master's Degree in Creative Writing from Teesside University (UK). She has also done further Post Graduate diplomas in Modern English and Education from both Nottingham University and the University of Leicester. Canada was born in South Africa but lived in the Middle East for 17 years with her husband and six adopted and biological children. She spends her time divided between Cyprus, The United Arab Emirates, Denmark, South Africa and London and takes a keen interest in international social issues that vex, using them as inspiration for her fantasy writing.
