Bradford Tice, a native of Tennessee, received his MA in English from the University of Colorado and his Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee. In 2009 he began teaching writing and literature at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Both a poet and fiction writer by trade, his work has appeared in such periodicals as The Atlantic Monthly, North American Review, The American Scholar, One Story, Epoch, as well as in Best American Short Stories 2008. Tice is also the recipient of numerous Pushcart nominations and was named the winner of the Prairie Schooner 2009 Edward Stanley Award for poetry. He lives in Lincoln, Nebraska, with his partner Christopher Lynch.
